Finding your new website on 'Google'
designedByFrisbee have a range of services available to help your website get noticed by the right people. We can help you optimise the content on your site to enable search engines to rank your site higher in search results (using white-hat SEO techniques), meaning more customers will find you, rather than a competitor.
We have various eMarketing techniques which can increase your ranking, and promote your site further. More traffic to your site means more potential customers and we can take you through the options regarding advertising your site commercially. Although not suitable for everyone, advertising can drive direct traffic to your site, for a fee.
Direct marketing via emails can be another way of increasing both traffic to your site, and business enquiries. We can help you formulate an effective email marketing campaign, and provide you with options for legitimate email distribution lists if you don't already have a good customer enquiry base.
On-page SEO
Search engine optimisation (SEO) breaks down into two categories: 'on-page' and 'off-page' optimisation. Optimising your sites content, meta data, structure, and its page layout to improve the way search engines scrape and index your site are part of "on-page" SEO. These techniques focus on improving the content aimed at the automated 'bots' that visit your site on behalf of the search engines, and take back the "significant" information from your site for the search engine to index and cross-match against its huge database.
By altering your content even just slightly, or by using layout or metadata, you can influence the way that the bots read the information on your site, therefore influencing what gets indexed by the search engines. Nobody really knows exactly what the algorithm is that the search engines use to index a website, but experience and intuition (as well as experimentation) can give good SEO the ability to guide your site gradually to the top of the ranking lists. It should be noted that most SEO techniques are long-term, and short-term techniques usually involve "black-hat" tricks which are generally frowned upon.
Off-page SEO, or SEM (Search Engine Marketing)
Developing a link strategy and directory submission plan for your new website are two examples of the many ways in which off-page SEO can help your site ranking in search engines. Links to your website is one of the primary ways in which search engines add value (or weight) to your site. You want your customers to find your site first, and that means getting a Page 1 (or top ten) position in the results page (SERP). The more sites that point to you, the higher in the search engine results you will appear.
But, the number of links is not enough to drive your website up the results list - each link is scored according to a formula (a well guarded secret), to gauge its weight or value - the higher the rank, the more weight it lends to your site. Black-hat techniques used to involve dumping your site onto thousands of web directories to try to increase the back-links to your site - search engines are wise to this and your site could actually suffer badly as a result.
designedByFrisbee only use white-hat techniques, creating slowly maturing and genuine link back lists from high value link sources. It may take longer, but these will bring genuine customers to your site as well as improving your search engine ranking.
